Under fire president of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo has cancelled the 9% communication service tax on mobile networks.
On Monday 1st October 2019 the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications announced that mobile users would pay 9% Communication Services Tax.
This change angered Ghanaians as they lambasted the Akufo-Addo led government for disappointing Ghanaians.
The same day the PURC also announced the increment in utility bills which even infuriated Ghanaians the more.
However, amid the severe criticisms meted out on President Akufo-Addo aka King Promise, he had no option than to cancel the 9% charges on the telecoms.
King Promise as he is affectionately consulted the Nkonkonsa and satiric team of massiveupdates.com to announce to the world how senseless he was to deceive Ghanaians just for power.
In his own words, Nana Akufo-Addo said ” Medi nkwasiasem”.
